Who are we?
Bryncynon Community Revival Strategy Ltd
A registered Charity based in Ynysboeth, Cynon Valley. Our mission is to create a self-sufficient and self-governing community where people of all ages collaborate to foster a caring, tolerant, healthy, skilled and forward-thinking environment - One where we can all take pride in living.
We are dedicated to fostering community wellbeing and empowerment in the Lower Cynon Valley, creating opportunities that enhance health, support families, and cultivate a trhiving community for all.
We oversee three community facilities in the local area, each offering a range of services including childcare, children's activities, cooking courses, adult entertainment sessions, training, venue hire, catering, and more.

Bryncynon Strategy operates as a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. Our Board of Directors includes representatives from the local community and various professionals. We embrace a holistic approach to community development that emphasizes lifelong learning, healthy living, community spirit, local economic growth, and environmental improvement. We understand that addressing community challenges requires integrated solutions, as these issues are often complex and interconnected.
Bryncynon Strategy is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. The Board of Directors is made up of representatives from the local community, and professionals. Bryncynon Strategy has adopted a holistic approach to community development which incorporates lifelong learning, healthy living, building community spirit, developing the local economy and improving the local environment. We acknowledge the need to develop integrated approaches to problems identified, because tackling issues in isolation does not work, as the problems and challenges we face in our communities are complex and interrelated.
To achieve our goals, we prioritise establishing partnerships that allow agencies and organisations to combine resources and work collaboratively to overcome barriers and challenges.
Currently, Bryncynon Strategy employs 16 staff members, many of whom are locals, and we engage with approximately 45 volunteers.
Recently, our initiatives have centered around developing The Listening Project, poverty alleviation programs, and services for children and families. Looking ahead, we aim to focus on healthy living and supporting young people.
