We were delighted to find out that our bid to the 'Places Called Home' grant was successful.  The grant is pilot partnership between IKEA and The National Lottery Community Fund, set up to support thriving, resilient and sustainable communities across the UK.

How did the grant help us?

We used the grant to fully refurbish one our rooms in The Feel Good Factory, which has become a much needed Food Pantry and Warm space for anyone in the community to come and use.  When designing our space, we wanted to use as much IKEA products to make it welcoming and homely, and people to see the furniture they can themselves purchase put into a different use to what you would at home.
